More Snow!!!!

What a beautiful sight we woke up to this morning! I was supposed to work today but the weather kept me in all day! It snowed off and on and then it all melted. I did my little loads of laundry, cleaned out the fridge, did some DG work and rested up for tomorrow. We watched Big Brother tonight and ate Wendy's. We had our phone call from Lauren and it was very strained. I have a long day at work tomorrow 8 to 8 due to the Fraxel open house we are having.

Starr...

Today was the last day of Bible Study and it was wonderful. I am so sad for it to be over. Beth Moore was so on top of her game today in the last lesson. We had a lunch served from Nicks Barbecue afterwards. Starr had her eyes done yesterday and she did not get to come to class. I fixed her a plate and went by for a visit and to get a look at her. She is doing great with not much swelling and she said she had no pain today. I think she is going to look great!

I love these boys!

Today I went up to 1st Baptist where all the cousins were playing. Corinne, Leslie, Jackson, Connor, Cannon and I went to lunch afterwards at Zaxbys. The boys were so adorable and I love being with them. I went to Patty Wiggers open house to see the new Creative Memories stuff and then to Linens and Things to try to find stuff for Brad and I to use in our closet swap. The floor is covered in clothes and shoes and purses and it is overwhelming. It may take me a month to get my stuff cleaned out!

Celebrating John Ed!

Tonight was a little celebration for John Ed turning 1. Nita invited me to join them and I am so glad. I got a chance to see all the children and I love being with them so much. I have not seen Christopher and John Ed since Thanksgiving and I could not believe how much they have grown and changed! Mom made him an Elmo cake and it was one of her best!

In Our Backyard today...

This morning I was getting ready for Bible Study and I heard a strange noise coming from out back. I opened the french doors and looked out and saw all of these turkeys! I had seen them in the neighbors yard before but never in ours. I went to get the camera to take these pictures and as I was taking them Buddy came outside and they all took off across the river. Buddy ran to the steps and stopped and was kinda making a crying noise. I don't know who was afraid of who, the turkeys of Buddy or Buddy of the turkeys!

Anni is 5 and Sarah James is 3!

Anni turned 5 on the 13th of February and Sarah James turned 3 on the 15th of February! I can not believe how fast these children are growing up! Anni had a party today at MyGym for her friends from school and her cousins. I did not feel like going but made them all promise to get me pictures of everything. They did a good job of capturing everything I think! Nita said that Anni was just full of herself. She is such an actress and you never know what she is going to say or do. I hated so bad to miss it! Mom made the cake per Anni's instructions.

Valentine's Day

After work Brad mentioned going to Sole Mio for dinner but I opted out for Edgefield! Patrick met us there and we all ate their famous cheeseburgers. Brad liked his homemade cards. We were tired and ready to come home and get on our PJ's, watch Lost and go to bed! Brad gave me 2 cards, 1 funny and 1 sweet and I got a LV purse!

It's Snowing!

It is snowing outside today! I am so glad that I do not have to go anywhere! I keep thinking about Aunt Ree and how much she loved the snow and making a good bowl of snow cream!

Ladies Night

Tonight was Ladies Night at Church and it was a Valentine theme. We had so much fun! Jacque and I picked up Mom and met Susan Greene and Karen Varallo there. We had dinner and they had a little dress up booth to have your picture made for your Valentine. We had lots of fun with that! Then they had a skit and we had to take a bag with something in it that our Valentine would love. I made Brad a paint swatch scrapbook of US. I will give it to him Thursday night.

It is very cold outside and the weather report is calling for freezing rain and light snow. I plan to stay in all day tomorrow so I don't care if it snows or not!!!

My Sunday....

Woke up in time for my "Church" (which includes Cornerstone Church and my favorite Joel Osteen. Today Joel's message was we need to have goals for our life, in our faith, in our marriage, our work, our finances and to do this, you have to have a plan. If you have goals and don't do anything to make it happen, it will be just a dream or a wish. If you work hard and have a plan to reach your goal, you can rest assured that God will do His part to intervene and help you reach your goals. I need to work on this. I do make goals and I do make plans but somehow I am not consistent . Really great lesson and made me really think.
I had my weekend catch up visit with Corinne on the phone and then Mom came over with lunch from Shoneys and we had a great visit. I gave her a valentines present of a Tiffany ring, Chanel wallet and Tiffany earrings (all knock offs of course). Patrick came by for a visit and to pick up all of his clean clothes. He was so cute and Mom just ate him up as seen in the picture above. Brad worked down on the bluff all day and seemed to really enjoy his work. We had pizza from Pizza Hut for dinner and I worked on bills, Valentines, Bible Study, and getting all my purses and jewelry priced for Starr to help me sell. All in all a good day!

Sent to me by Corinne today.......

One Flaw In Women (you will see what it is in the end) Women have strengths that amaze men. They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice. They don't take 'no' for an answerwhen they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their family can have. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear abouta birth or a wedding. Their hearts break when a friend dies. They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kisscan heal a broken heart. Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and loveThey have the compassion and ideas. They give moral support to their family and friends. Women have vital things to say and everything to give. HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH .

I Don't Care!

Ok, so today, after more changes in the office of who does what and when and how they do it, I decided that I just don't care! I am so focused on joy and I refuse to let my "old" self fall in the "controlling" habit that things need to be done my way. I am learning to let go and not let anyone take my JOY!!!! I will be glad when there are duties now being done by someone else. I will not say a word when I know that it will not work or it could be done a better way! And..... when it does not work, I will not say " I told you so"! And that is all I will say on this subject!

When did they get so big?

Leslie updated the boys website today and I am
stunned! I haven't seen the boys in over a month
and it appears they have grown up so much. I can't
get over Cannon how he has come into his own and
suddenly he is such a big boy! I wish I could see them
more. I am so afraid that they will not know me and
I want to be close to them so bad!

Super Tuesday!

Today is expected to be one of the biggest election days ever. I went and voted for Hillary Clinton and George Rooker. George didn't need my vote since no one was running againist him but my girl Hillary is going to have a fight on her hands.

What is with this weather?

Ok, this morning on the way to Bible Study, I look down to check
the time and could not believe what the temperature was! It is February and it is 68 degrees outside, actually it feels much hotter than that. I had my air conditioner on the entire time! Bible Study was so good today I am so glad that I climbed the 3 flights of stairs to get there!

Patrick's new place....

Tonight on the way home from work, Patrick called and asked me to come by and see his place. It is hard to believe that he has been gone since January 25th and this is my first time over. I think I had mixed emotions because 1) he moved 2) he didn't need my help 3) he did the decorating 4) HE MOVED! I was so pleased, him and Zack had done a great job fixing it up like they wanted it. I noticed right off the mirror above the fireplace and the candles burning. As Brad said, maybe he had noticed my touches. You can see by his smile, the pride and joy that he has and that alone makes it all OK!

I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend
while I'm here than a whole truck load when I'm gone.

Sewing with love for Cheryl!

Today, Alice had friends and family over to work on Cheryl's Babette Blanket. We had the best time sewing together the squares that Donna, Alice and Cheryl's other cousin made. Alice has the nicest bunch of friends that she gets together with every week called her Knitting Club. The ladies are all so talented and so much fun. Cheryl was not having a very good day when Alice called to check on her. She will be going back in the hospital next week for another treatment. I know she is going to love the blanket when she sees it!

I came home and Brad and I had dinner at Woody's and saw Charlene Ferguson and Kaye Jackson. Then we went grocery shopping and ran into Patrick who was also grocery shopping!

Joel Osteen today was for me again!

Today's Scripture
“…Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us” (Isaiah 25:9).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
Isn’t it good to know that you can trust God today? He is faithful, and He will save you! Save you from what? He’ll save you from anything that you need to be saved from! First and foremost, He’ll save you from the bondage of sin and death and give you eternal life. He’ll save you from fear. He’ll save you from the bondage of debt. He’ll save you from sickness and disease. When you open your heart to trust the Father by obeying His Word, the Bible says that He will save you from all the snares, or traps, of the enemy. If there’s something in your life that you need deliverance from, begin to declare that you trust God to save you. Sing a song of worship and declare His victory in your life today. As you step out and trust Him, He will bring His deliverance to you, and you will move forward into the life of freedom and victory the Lord has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, today I choose to trust You. I know You are a faithful Deliverer. I cast all of my cares on You because I know You care for me. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
